About Us
Certy Foundation
Certy Foundation which stands for Credible, Enrichment, Reaching, The, Youth Non Profit organization was founded in 2022. In an effort to reduce the number of youth and young adults entering the justice system the Certy Foundation was created. Worldwide we have seen an increase of violent activity, with gun violence plaguing inner cities. Awareness is needed to draw attention to this tragic reality and demand life-saving change. The programs that we have are developed utilizing, person centered planning, crisis awareness, restorative justice, strength-based models and community service initiatives. In life, it is not how you start, but how you finish.
Mission statement
Certy foundation
Our mission is to help the youth learn the benefits of mentorship and peer communication about life and community issues. The adolescents in our group should be able to deal with peer pressure at school and at home. Also, our mission is to help the youth to be able to share what they have learned with other teens. Our youth need a support group outside of friends, and relatives. Our foundation's objective is not to just listen. It's to support, pray and come up with a resolution for a lifetime. We at Certy Foundation will work hard to help our community, but first we will change ourselves.
